Overview

Build a Small Business Website 101 – essential skills for creating and maintaining a site for your own business. Our industry-qualified trainers use plain English with tried-and-tested exercises and demonstrations to give you all the information you need to get started quickly.

The course uses Adobe Photoshop as an image-editing suite but most of the techniques can be translated to other editing softwares. The CMS used is WordPress – the platform on which some of the world’s most successful sites are built – but will also discuss other solutions. WordPress sites can be implemented really quickly, with a relatively shallow learniong curve at the outset but they can be scaled up to provide larger solutions, including e-commerce options and social platforms (although these will require a developer). If you need to get a site set up on next-to-no-budget, can’t afford to employ a designer but have the willingness to learn and the tools to get started then this course is for you!
Once you’re up and running you’ll be in control of your site – it will be much easier to maintain, update and enhance with special functionality.

Our industry-qualified trainers use plain English with tried-and-tested exercises and demonstrations to give you all the information you need to get started quickly.
