Hands-on exercises throughout the AutoCAD Training course explore how to create 2D production drawings. The exercises are provided in both a printed format as well as an on-screen format that can be viewed next to AutoCAD.

In this hands-on course based on real-world, industry-specific design scenarios, you’ll explore the fundamental concepts and workflows for creating 3D models using AutoCAD. You’ll learn how to present your designs before they’re even finished using visualisation tools, model walk and fly throws, materials, and lighting. Afterwards, you’ll be one step closer to making your designs real as an advanced AutoCAD user and confident 3D designer.


Using hands-on exercises representing real-world, industry-specific design scenarios, students explore the fundamental concepts and workflows for creating 3D models using AutoCAD. Students learn how to create and modify both solid and surface models. This AutoCAD Training course also teaches students how to present their designs while they are still being created, using visualisation tools such as visual styles, model walk and fly throws, materials, and lighting. Students also learn how to output 3D models from AutoCAD to either paper distributable or electronic version.
